Mission:

• To foster an appreciation of the Irish culture and promote social and educational links within Massachusetts and Ireland.

• To promote ties between West Springfield Hish School and educational and cultural organizations in Massachusetts and Ireland.

• To serve as an academic link with Irish American social organizations in Western New England.

• To serve as a public forum for Irish cultural events, including lectures, musical presentations, films, and exhibits.

• To create a cultural and educational program with a school(s) in Ireland.

• To prepare students to be knowledgeable, ethical and productive individuals who will live in an interdependent global society.

 The Ceili Crew is a high school  Irish club.  We were created in January of 2004 and at that time were only showing movies and traveling to Ireland.  Since then we have grown to a club with 35 members from all ethnic backgrounds  who are currently helping to promote Irish heritage and culture.  The 'Crew' hosts a variety of activites from authors, historians, movies, marching in parades, community service and travel to Ireland.  One day, in the future, we hope to have an exchange with students from Ireland.  We look forward to fostering ties between our school, state and groups within Ireland.
